Rogue USA Aluminum Collars

These dependable, lockdown barbell collars are made from an advanced, aircraft-grade 6061 Billet Aluminum, CNC machined in the USA and laser-etched with Rogue branding. Weighing 0.25 LBS and measuring 1.5" in width, each Rogue USA Aluminum Collar includes a nylon, lock-open lever with a unique snap flexure, allowing the user to fully open the collar for easier installation on the bar.

Rogue USA Aluminum (Made in USA not EU) Collars are compatible with any standard Olympic barbell sleeve, and include an interior rubber lining to help prevent any scuffs or friction. A set screw also captures each of the (4) rolling dowel pins for smoother lever action and longer usable life. Stability and durability are vital for the high intensity weightlifter, and American manufacturing makes all the difference in delivering that consistency.

Note: Slight color variations may occur due to the nature of the anodization process.

Durable Construction

Just as precision American manufacturing creates a better barbell, it helps produce a stronger, higher-performance barbell collar, as well. Rogue USA Aluminum Collars are CNC machined using ultra-durable 6061 billet aluminum—a material that’s been used for years in the aeronautics industry. We also include a strong anodized finish for max wear resistance (clear silver), along with laser etched branding in both the collar and the lock-open lever.

Lock-Open Lever with Snap Flexure

Lock-Open Lever with Snap Flexure

Rogue USA Aluminum Collars are sold in pairs and measure 1.5” in width, making them compatible not only with Rogue barbells like the Ohio Bar and Bella Bar, but any standard Olympic bar and Oly plates in the industry. A unique lock-open nylon lever includes a snap flexure that fully opens the collar for easier installation and locks it down for reliable stability. An interior rubber lining protects both the collar and your bar from scuffs / friction.

Best Collars Ever!
There's a reason these are top rated by most reviewers. Best set of collars that I have ever owned.

Expensive but worth every penny!
Pretty solid collars. Was hesitant on price but saw some good reviews on YouTube. Doesn’t get loose on lifts. Will probably buy another set for my woman.

Solid with needed QC
Soid collars. ZERO wiggle with the weights. Only downside is one of them "catches" and takes a lot of force to push down. A lot of force. Other than that, besr collars I've ever used.

Best Collars for the Money
Great Collars! 2 part review: Holding Strength: These are the best securing collars available for the money (used a large variety between home gyms and commercial gyms; hold up over high reps which differs from the competition locking collars) which is why I purchased a second pair for loadable dumbbells. I've unloaded a deadlift bar with 4-45's on one side and stood it upright with the collar holding 180lbs of plates with zero movement and the barbell vertical. Ergonomics: The only thing keeping me from rating these 5 stars is that there is an edge near the lock and release lever that really needs to be deburred or have the machining updated in this area to eliminate a sharp corner as when I flip these open / unlocked it will grab the meat of your finger and potentially cut you. I don't think it's ever drawn blood but plenty of instances where it'll scrape your finger and remind you to avoid that little edge.

Missed a J-cup when reracking - Was concerned the plates would slide but no movement at all.

Will not repurchase
Bought and used these for CrossFit at my local gym. When they are new, the lever is dangerously tight and snaps open quickly. They do not hold weights particularly well, and I have to readjust them during barbell cycling workouts of any sort. Recently had a bumper plate tip over onto one of them while I was taking off the plates after a workout and now it is bent and won't fit on the barbell. So, not very durable. I guess that's the tradeoff with aluminum. Only a 1yr warranty on these (despite what it says online) per Rogue!
Bent vs functional collar
Collar that bent after a bumper plate TIPPED over on it.

Excellent
Outstanding fit and grip. They really hug the bar. Have a cheap set of clips. They would have movement at heavier weights. Not these boys though. Zero movement up to 600lbs.
